La Zenia
La Zenia, is one of the busiest beaches in Orihuela Costa. This sandy beach is 350 meters long and 60 meters wide. Efforts are being made to obtain a “Blue Flag” for this very popular beach. It is an ideal location for practicing all types of water sports. The beach has special access for disabled people, toilets, foot showers and a Red Cross station, public telephone, parking lot, playground, taxi rank and a direct bus connection. In the immediate vicinity of this beach there are also many restaurants where you can enjoy excellent Spanish and European cuisine.
Cabo Roig
The first holiday homes were built on this peninsula as early as the 1960s. On the south side of the steep coast, sailors can use the sports boat harbor.
In the north of the cape you will find the small bay “Cala Capitán” with the rock “Isla del Carmen” in front of it. From here a beautiful footpath leads along the steep coast to the Marina Cabo Roig.
At the small marina, you can enjoy the sea view in the La Bahia restaurant with tapas or cocktails.
On the south side you reach the 350m wide beach “La Caleta” via steps. This is particularly child-friendly, as the bottom slopes very gently to the sea.
